Retrieved 2012-09-21 〕 In 33 BC he served as one of the four suffect consuls who stood in for Octavianus after he stood down from the office. Acilius Glabrio probably held the office from July to October of that year.〔Broughton, p. 413〕 In 25 BC, Acilius Glabrio was appointed the proconsular governor of Africa.
